Frequently Asked Questions

QDriving Test Master wont install in XP

A NOTE: Any XP installation should be performed as with most software on XP via the Admin Account.

This is a common issue with XP. If you only have one profile you use on your computer, it is already an Admin account and you should have no issue.

We are planning an update to deal with some of XP's issues with our software and profiles & permissions.

Please note this does not affect Windows Vista or Windows 7 Users.

QAVG Anti-Virus Conflict with Driving Test Master

A Older versions of AVG seem to be killing the software. Users who are running AVG and are not up to date, will have problems installing as AVG thinks our sony copy protection is a virus. This has since been updated by Griswold who maintain AVG, but I thought this would be important information.

Solution: Update AVG to latest version & re-install the software.

SONY & Electronic Arts had the same issue some time ago:

QCannot view flash video clips and have a 64bit system

A You are likely on this page because your computer is running a 64-bit Web browser on a 64-bit operating system and you are trying to install Flash Player. Flash Player does not run in most 64-bit browsers. To install Flash Player, use a 32-bit Web browser on your 64-bit operating system. All major browsers are available in 32-bit versions.

QWindows Not Reading Disk Error.

A This may occur for a variety of reasons. The first thing you should check is that you have a Dual Layer DVD drive. If your computer is less than 5 years old, it is most likely that you have a Dual Layer Drive.

You can check this by checking the front of your DVD Drive and looking at the DVD symbol, it should have a DL or read Dual Layer next to it. if you do, it is possible you have a problem with your DVD Drive, and you should use a DVD Cleaning Disk to try to solve the problem. Should the following not work, we would estimate you have an issue with your DVD Drive or possibly a defective disk.

If this is the case, please ensure your DVD Drive is working correctly, and and after having been tested & confirmed; contact your retailer to arrange a return.
